I'm Stacey!

I was going through some serious sh*t. I'd just gone through a divorce and the financial crisis of 2008 hit me hard but that did not hold me down. Hell no! (Actually, this is where I’d like to say Hell no!; but Hell yes it totally knocked me down to my knees).

Once the chaos had subsided, I gradually regained my sense of direction. All that I was building (the perfect marriage, career, 401K) was wiped out in an instant. I gathered my group of gal pals - all successful, professional women - and we decided we were done living to others ideals and ready to find our own inner compass. It was a freeing time, with continued ups and downs- but as I got more clear on Stacey 2.0, the right people, opportunities and adventures came my way.

We weren't going to sit around waiting for someone else to make our dreams come true. We were going to be bold, fearless, and unapologetically badass.

I felt this BGutzy movement with so much passion and depth- I purchased the domain in 2010-with the full intention of bringing this “dream” to life. But wouldn’t you know it? Life took me in a different direction… creating a family & an entirely new business.

Fast forward to 2023, and I had started a completely different company - Skin Renew Day Spa & Laser Center - in Indianapolis, Indiana. We are celebrating our 10th anniversary in business and are currently expanding for the third time. Although the entrepreneurial spirit was still alive in me, life had pointed me in a new direction for my business.

The entrepreneurial drive was undoubtedly present, but life had steered me towards a fresh path for my business venture.

However, after more than a decade had passed, B'Gutzy continued to occupy a special place in my thoughts and heart. Despite the various challenges and setbacks that life has thrown my way, I have come to realize the enduring importance of resilience and perseverance, qualities that B’Gutzy represents to me.

I share all of this to express that I have been where you are. I have fought my way through life's obstacles and have come out on the other side - multiple times. Sometimes, we just need a community of support or a kick in the a** from that friend who won't let us give in. This is where B'Gutzy comes in.

I am absolutely driven by my passion to inspire and ignite movement! My ultimate goal is to create a vibrant and supportive community that I myself craved in the past, a place where we can all pursue our dreams with vigor and determination. Let's face it, tomorrow is never guaranteed, and I am determined to help us all make the most of every moment.
